Kristina Hollander
Head Coach
Kristina Hollander is Head Coach / Co-Founder of Bay Tennis Academy. She concurrently serves as Assistant Coach of the San Jose State University women’s tennis team (NCAA - Division 1).
Prior to Bay Tennis Academy, Kristina was the head tennis professional for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Puerto Rico. She also held tennis pro positions in Nevada, New York, and Connecticut.
Kristina was a professional tennis player in the ITF / WTA circuit.
She was also a four-year letterwinner at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and was a seven-time all-conference player in the Mountain West conference. She was a nationally-ranked Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) singles and doubles player and the 2010 ITA Mountain Region Senior of the Year during her college career. She competed in the 2007 and 2008 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championships in doubles and the 2010 NCAA Championships as a singles entry for the Rebels. Kristina was named UNLV's 2010 Sportswoman of the Year.
She was a three-time Academic All-Mountain West award winner, an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and graduated from UNLV with honors in 2010.
A native of Sofia, Bulgaria, Kristina was a national champion in the Under-14, Under-16, and open singles indoor categories.
